Jamie Noel
Born and raised in Stockton-on-Tees, I developed an obsession with film early in life but never considered someone from my background could be a part of this industry until much later. Now based in Kent, I’ve made several projects as a writer/director.
In 2016 I shot “Lotus Flower” - a short doc about a community of refugees in Calais and followed this with a feature doc, “Diaspora” shooting in France, Greece, Turkey and Jordan.
In 2017, I was selected for Film London’s short film programme. This resulted in directing the short “His Wake”, which was screened as part of the official selection of the BFI London Film Festival and several international film festivals. In addition, it was awarded Best Casting in a Short Film at the CDG Awards.
In 2018, I wrote, directed, and produced the micro-budget feature “Lie Low”, which travelled the international film festival circuit before a worldwide release on Amazon Prime.
Since then, I have been developing a sci-fi feature script, “An Immaculate Conception”, with Other Productions, a BFI Vision Award Recipient.
I currently work as a producer/director for a creative agency.
